RESPONSIBLE CONSUMPTION

We live in a world full of contradictions, and we hear that there are people so poor that they can not afford the most basic and necessary things and, at the same time, many people have a lot of things they do not really need.

This consumerism is fed by the influence of advertising, based on false ideas such as happiness depends on the amount of things we have. This ends up creating a society where the key to everything is to get money to be able to acquire those products that we do not usually need. There is a study conducted by the Directorate General of Consumer Affairs of the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha where it is observed that 35% of men and 33% of women have problems of addiction to purchases, and in the case of Young people amount to 46%.

In addition to advertising, other things increase this consumerism, such as creating use-and-throw products or poor quality, without looking for others, forcing us to buy them again, since it is more expensive to repair the product than to buy a new one.
